Our good computer has been broken badly for months. It needs to have the harddrive wiped, but we don't have a windows disk. Great. $120. Should only take at -least- another month to get it fixed. Till then, I'm on a 1999 dell with a 6 gig harddrive. It can barely run any of the sites I visit. *sucks I tell you, sucks*

Ugh, after four great years of membership on eliteskills.com, I feel so frustrated. The site has declined so much. Lost some of its best, most giving, most talented members. And the critiquing has gone to shit. Leaving everyone aching for the input and honesty that existed once between what is now the dinosaurs of the site. So, I am making it my mission to be the one who brings critiquing back. I don't know how much it is going to help, or how effective it will be. But I hope it workd the wonders that it needs to. I just wish Crash would come back on there, and tell all of the newbs who don't edit or try how much  their work sucks. He almsot made me quit the site back in the day, but he really made me raise my expectations of my own writing, and helped me write more originally. I am too afraid of offending to step in for him, but damned if I am gonna sit back and have these people flooding the boards with mediocre poetry with no heart, editing, or talent behind it.

My character on Armageddon MUD is about to have a miscarriage. I can't help but site and listen to Brazen by Skunk Anansie over and over again. So I will let you in on the words if you don't know them.

I called you brazen
Called you whore right to your face
And watched you silently
And publicly disgraced
I didn't notice
When you strengthened like a vice
That you were trembling
And burned beneath the ice

Why don't you weep
When I hurt you?
Why don't you weep
When I cut you?
You don't bleed
And the anger builds up inside
Why don't you weep
When I hurt you?
Why don't you weep
When I cut you?
You don't bleed
And the anger builds up inside

You said a prayer
And I betrayed you with a kiss
I never realized that all
Had come to this
So keep your dignity
Don't throw it all to waste
Stronger feelings
Than you've ever learned to face

We held hands on the last night on earth.
Our mouths filled with dust, we kissed in the fields and under trees,
screaming like dogs, bleeding dark into the leaves.
It was empty on the edge of town but we knew everyone floated
along the bottom of the river.
So we walked through the waste where the road curved into the sea
and the shattered seasons lay,
and the bitter smell of burning was on you like a disease.
In our cancer of passion you said, "Death is a midnight runner."
The sky had come crashing down like the news of an intimate suicide.
We picked up the shards and formed them into shapes
of stars that wore like an antique wedding dress.
The echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn
as the ferris wheel silently slowed to a stop.
The few insects skittered away in hopes of a better pastime.
I kissed you at the apex of the maelstrom and asked
if you would accompany me in a quick fall,
but you made me realize that my ticket wasn't good for two.
I rode alone.
You said, "The cinders are falling like snow."
There is poetry in despair, and we sang with unrivaled beauty,
bitter elegies of savagery and eloquence.
Of blue and grey.
Strange, we ran down desperate streets and carved our names in the flesh of the city.
The sun was stagnated somewhere beyond the rim of the horizon
and the darkness is a mystery of curves and lines.
Still, we lay under the emptiness and drifted slowly outward,
and somewhere in the wilderness we found salvation scratched
into the earth like a message.

... I came here by day, but I left here in darkness
And found you, found you on the way
And now, it is silver and silent, it is silver and cold
You, in somber resplendence, I hold

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one

Light, like the flutter of wings, feel your hollow voice rushing into me
As you're longing to sing
So I... I will paint you in silver, I will wrap you in cold
I will lift up your voice as I sink

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me

Cold in life's throws, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throws, I only ask you turn away
Cold in life's throws, I'll fall asleep for you
Cold in life's throws, I only ask you turn
As they seep... into me, oh, my beautiful one, now

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me)
Your sins into me... oh

Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one, now
Your sins into me
As a rapturous voice escapes, I will tremble a prayer
And I'll beg for forgiveness
(Your sins into me) Your sins into...
(Your sins into me) Your sins into me
Oh, my beautiful one

Today has been a long day, and I am ready to take a nap.
